MYDELs R2G program in Kasubi

5th December 2022

Urban farming project at MYDEL took off on a positive note, with 15 families recieving seedlings. This was preceded by an orientation session on the management of urban farm by Sheikh Damba a renowned urban farmer in Nansana. The package included organic manure, tomatoes, onions, cabbage, sukuma week (spinachi). This is one of the projects supported under the Right to Grow program (R2G) grant. Many thanks to MCLD & Hunger Project for the great partnership, Sheikh Damba for orientation and supply of the urban farming package. Sheikh Damba Initiative will continue to follow up the beneficiaries for on-spot mentoring.

Stay safe and happy new year.
